February Meetings

This month we have had two great meetings! 

First we were educated on Finance from Chesser Financial Group.  It was a great presentation and gave us a lot to think about and discuss with our significant others.

The second social meeting of the month was Yoga.  Two members brought in their amazing Yoga instructor and we downward dogged and breathed!! and were quiet for a good 40 minutes.  It was awesome!  I'm sure others are as sore as I am today! 

Not even the birds in the building bothered our small amount of peace in the day.

Mommy Daughter Event

The Mommy Daughter event was held last weekend.  A Pancakes and PJ's themed event with lots of homemade pancakes, jammies, books, pillow case decorating, and all around silliness! 

All had a great time!

Meetings, Meetings, Meetings!

We've had so many great, engaging meetings, that I've forgotten to take lots of pictures of them!

From Christmas merry making and services, to learning about our weight, to great books to read, we've had fantastic, successful, meaningful meetings. 

So sorry! 

But really, it isn't all my fault.

It is theirs :)

November

November brought us two great meetings!

First we had the fantastic  Karrie Ingelsby teaching us about our body types and what we should and more importantly, should NOT wear.  It was such a great meeting that I didn't snap any photos! 

Our second meeting of the month was a social meeting.  The ladies were taught how to knit just a little bit and how to do a simple needle point stitch.  I'm biased but I think it was wonderful.  

Social Meeting: Brand Vs. Generic

Lori lead us in a great social meeting the past week.  She organized and came up with a group of different products to test out.  From tin foil to cheerios to hand lotion, we tasted, felt, and used a gamete of supplies. 

Tallys were made, opinions were changed, fun was had.

Fall Family Fun!

Despite the rain and wind, the Fall Family event went on!

Thanks to the heroic effort of Jen and Josie (and lots of other moms/dads), the fall family fun day was just that --FUN!

Chili, veggies, soup, hotdogs, and desserts to feed our families.

Photography .101

We were lucky to have one of our own members, Carrie, give us a lesson on basic photography.  We covered a variety of things from lighting, to how to use our cameras (who knew!),  to more advanced things like aperture and white balance. 

We got out our manuals, did some practice shooting, and spent time giggling as we all attempted to work our cameras. 

A lot of members went away inspired to capture those most important moments!

Eat!

The last meeting was yummy!  So many good foods and SO many great lunch and dinner ideas!

First Wonderful Meeting Of the Year

Our first meeting of the year was wonderful.  We were lucky to have an amazing 30 women come and welcome the new year.

Our fantastic and charming speaker, Brian Shore, taught us about our bones and gave us all the bad news that we have to eat healthy and exercise if we are going to make it.

The next meeting is a "social" meeting with go to foods as our topic and share.  Yumm!

Meetings

Our last meetings were so great!  Lots of ladies, babies, projects, and fun times!

The last Girls' Night Out was great! Lots and lots of laughs!  What a perfect way to end the year and start the busy summer!
